Don Tidbury joined Macedon Ranges Health as Chief Executive Officer in November 2014. Don is an experienced health care executive who has worked across the metro and rural public health sectors. He has strong expertise in leading large complex health services, engaging stakeholders, enhancing clinical governance, improving financial sustainability and delivering capital projects.
Prior to joining Macedon Ranges Health, Don was Deputy CEO at Northeast Health Wangaratta, 2014 Premier’s Health Service Of The Year. Don is a fully qualified CPA, Graduate of The Australian Institute Of Company Directors, an Associate Fellow of the Australasian College Of Health Service Management (ACHSM) and has participated in various senior leadership development & mentoring programs.
Don enjoys contributing to the health, aged and community sectors via various voluntary board appointments including the Australian Health Services Financial Management Association (AHSFMA) and Court Network. In May 2016 Don was appointed Deputy Chair of the VHA's Residential Aged Care Special Interest Group
Robyn Parish - Manager Residential Aged Care, Gisborne Oaks
Robyn commenced with Gisborne Oaks in April 2016 and is a registered nurse with seventeen years’ experience in managing residential aged care; she has previously worked in both the public and not for profit sectors.
Prior to joining Macedon Ranges Health Robyn was the Director of Nursing at Trentham (Hepburn Health Service) were she led a team that consistently achieved outstanding results.
She has qualifications in nursing, business management and human resource management.
Robyn is highly adaptable and brings excellent leadership, problem solving, communication and influencing skills. She enjoys managing, mentoring and developing staff and achieving quality outcomes for residents and their support teams/families.
She has developed a lifelong passion for aged care and is very happy to be part of the team at Macedon Ranges Health.
Yvonne Campbell - Manager, Primary Care
Yvonne commenced with Macedon Ranges Health in 2012 and was appointed to Manager, Primary Care in August 2014.
Yvonne is a registered nurse and has had over 20 years’ experience across the acute and community health sectors including Manager - District Nursing & Home Care, Macedon Ranges Health; Clinical Assessor and Care Manager - Royal District Nursing Service and Palliative Care Specialist - Royal District Nursing Service.
A key highlight of Yvonne's career was opening the Macedon Ranges Health Centre in March 2016. As one of regional Australia's greatest in
Yvonne lives in the Macedon Ranges with her family.
Sophie Gilmour, Quality and Risk Manager
Sophie joined Macedon Ranges Health in January 2015, commencing in the newly established role of Quality & Risk Coordinator. This role leads the Macedon Ranges Health Continuous Improvement program and coordinates internal and external audit activities. 2015 has already seen the achievement of successful triennial accreditation to the Aged Care Standards and the successful review of our accreditation to the Australian Health Care Standards, where Macedon Ranges Health were accredited at a “Marked Achievement” level to the EQuIP5 criteria.
Sophie has most recently worked at Multiple Sclerosis as the Quality and Risk Manager for ACT/NSW/Victoria. Sophie’s background also includes over 15 years in Community Service Management roles within disability and health organisations. With an extensive background working in not for profit organisations Sophie has an excellent understanding of governance and operational systems and requirements and brings a strong focus on clinical governance and the achievement of high quality customer outcomes and satisfaction to Macedon Ranges Health. Sophie is also a qualified Occupational Therapist.
Sophie grew up in Gisborne and has recently returned to live in Gisborne with her young family.
Peter Hansard - Finance Manager
Peter joined Macedon Ranges Health in 2013 as their Finance Manager. Peter is an experienced CFO with 30 years' experience in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. He is a CPA and member of the Governance Institute of Australia. Peter moved from Sydney to the Macedon Ranges with his family and is enjoying the rural and regional lifestyle.
Lexi Hilgert - Human Resources Manager
Lexi joined the team at Macedon Ranges Health in August 2015.
Prior to joining Macedon Ranges Health Lexi has been involved in high volume recruitment projects, that include working to tight deadlines, complex client/stakeholder engagement from initial proposal/tender process, through to design and implementation phases, as well as delivery. Having led and worked on a number of recruitment projects over the recent years for top tier organisations including IBM/Kenexa, CCH, Lockheed Martin, Canon, and the Department of Justice assisting in the development of best practice recruitment tools and sourcing strategies.
Lexi’s early career included roles as HR Business Partner within the financial services and consulting industries. Lexi's experience has involved broad reaching HRO service delivery roles, where she successfully tendered for a number of large corporate projects, and saw them through to successful delivery exceeding client expectations.
Lexi lives in Gisborne with her family.
Sandy McKay - Property Services Manager
Sandy joined Macedon Ranges Health in November 2013.
Previous work record of more than 30 years as an Electrician / Electrical Contractor, experienced across a wide range of Domestic , Commercial & Industrial fields.
Originally from Glasgow in Scotland , Sandy has lived and worked in Scotland , South Africa and Australia.
The role at Macedon Ranges Health has been very busy from day one, starting with the move from the original building. The relocation into the new facility capped off a hectic year and a bit period. So there is never a dull moment and the challenges keep coming.
Sandy lives in Castlemaine with his partner Andrea.
Kelly Milne - Community Engagement Manager
Kelly commenced with Macedon Ranges Health in December 2012. Prior to joining Macedon Ranges Health Kelly enjoyed roles in varied industries. Commencing in Public Relations and Event Management working with mostly tourism and travel clients to a 3 year period with Macquarie Bank being responsible for staff and client marketing, events and conferences. Her final role before MRH was with an Economic Consulting firm as Office Manager.
At Macedon Ranges Health she has enjoyed her journey with the organisation which has involved the relocation to the new centre and feels very lucky to have secured a diverse, challenging and enjoyable position with such a valued community organisation. Kelly lives in Mt Macedon with her family.
